Plants and Packs

We supply our plants in a number of different sizes to meet the demands of all gardeners:


Whether you want a large number of small plants at a low cost for growing on in a greenhouse, or prefer smaller quantities of larger plants that can, weather permitting, be planted straight into the garden or containers, we have what you need.

All our plants are grown on either our highly mechanised modern nurseries, or on one of our smaller specialist nurseries in the Chichester area and sent all across the UK.

We control the whole process from sowing a seed or rooting a cutting to growing each plant on in its final tray or pot under carefully controlled conditions. This allows us to guarantee the quality of everything we produce.

Our growing trays have been developed to gain maximum efficiencies during the growing and distribution processes. This gives us cost savings that we pass on to our customers.

We have designed our delivery boxes to protect our plants from physical damage and temperatures extremes, so they arrive in perfect condition.

Commercial growers buy our plugs, so you will be receiving the same product. They are suitable for growing on in larger trays or pots in a greenhouse, cold frame or conservatory before planting out in the garden.

Each plant is about 20 - 30mm tall from the tip to the top of the compost. The cell size is approximately 15mm square and 30mm deep.

Small Plugs are supplied in trays of 90 plants.

They are easy to grow on and ideal for the enthusiastic gardener who wants a large number of plants at a low cost.

These bigger plugs are also bought by commercial growers. They are best grown on in larger trays or pots in a greenhouse, cold frame or conservatory before planting out in the garden.

Each plant is about 30 - 45mm tall from the tip to the top of the compost. The cell size is approximately 18mm square and 30mm deep.

Standard Plugs are supplied in trays of 60 plants.

They are very easy to grow on.

These will produce a full sized plant much quicker and can be planted straight into final containers and baskets or grown on in pots and boxes in a greenhouse, cold frame or conservatory until the weather allows them to be moved outside.

Each plant is about 40 - 50mm tall from the tip to the top of the compost. The cell size is approximately 23mm square and 30mm deep.

Large Plugs are supplied in trays of 40 plants.

These easy to grow plants are ideal for planting directly into containers and baskets or into borders. If the weather is not suitable for immediate planting outside, they can be grown on in pots or in a green house.

Each plant is about 35 - 50mm tall from the tip to the top of the compost. The cell size is approximately 30mm square and 45mm deep.

Young Plants are supplied in multiples of 6 plants and come packed in special polystyrene boxes.

These easy to grow plants are designed for planting straight into containers and baskets or into borders.

Each plant is about 45 - 60mm tall from the tip to the top of the compost. The cell size is approximately 50mm diameter and 50mm deep.

Ready Plants are supplied in multiples of 6 plants and come packed in special polystyrene boxes.

These are easy to grow, garden ready plants, ideal for planting straight into final containers and borders.

Each plant is about 35 - 50mm tall from the tip to the top of the compost. The cell size is approximately 42 x 45mm and 55mm deep.

There are 12 plants in individual cells per box.

Whilst all our plants are grown on our nursery, our vegetable plants are grown on our own organically certified nursery. They are ideal for planting straight into your vegetable patch or containers.

Each plant is grown in a terracotta coloured pot and is about 45 - 60mm tall from the tip to the top of the compost. The pot size is approximately 51mm.

Similar to the vegetable plants, our herb plants are grown on our own organically certified nursery. They are ideal for planting straight into your vegetable patch or containers.
