We spend considerable resources on designing and producing innovative and effective packaging to ensure that your plants arrive safely, whether sent by Royal Mail or courier. Our unique packaging is rigorously tested. As leaders in plant packaging innovation we are able to offer products that are not available from other mail order businesses.

We have developed our own growing trays for all sized plugs. The plants are raised in the very trays that they are shipped in. This eliminates unnecessary packaging, reduces waste and ensures the plants security during transit.

The plug packs are made of expanded polystyrene (EPS), which protects your plants from physical damage and extremes of temperature. Unlike other plastics, EPS allows the plants to breathe, reducing sweating that can cause damage and disease.

We also use EPS for our young and ready to plant plug packs. These packs have been designed to hold the plants securely and protect the roots. In addition, the plants are grown in compost that contains a special compound to stop the root structures from crumbling.

The container kit pack has been especially designed for use with our container kit plant collection - new for Spring 2008. These kits are designed to provide a simple and convenient way of ordering pre-designed hanging basket and patio container collections.

The pack's hexagonal base unit securely holds six 9cm pots plus one central 1 litre pot. This allows us to send a complete selection of well-established pot plants that are ready for you to plant straight into your container.
