We're pleased to announce our full support for Eat Seasonably campaign!

Nothing compares to the great taste of fresh vegetables eaten at their seasonal best. What could be better than eating food that has only just been picked? Growing your own vegetables is obviously the best way of ensuring that what you are eating is as fresh as possible. It is also the cheapest way to eat well, and is better for the planet as a whole!

We’re passionate about encouraging people to grow their own vegetables and reap the benefits this brings. For this reason, we are pleased to announce our full support for the Eat Seasonably campaign!

In recent years we have become accustomed to buying fruit and vegetables all year round, even when they’re not in season. Unfortunately, the quality and taste of these foods suffers when they’re bought out of season. Eat Seasonably is a nationwide campaign to help you enjoy fruit and veg at its seasonal best, either by encouraging shops to promote food that’s in season or by showing you how and when to grow your own!

Each fruit or vegetable has a prime time when it’s at its seasonal best. That means extra flavour, crunch and juiciness. What’s more, food that’s eaten in season is guaranteed to be better value and super fresh!
