Unlike annual plants, herbaceous perennials will return year after year to provide your flower beds and borders with colour that will last from spring right through to early Autumn.
Perennial plants can be used to create wonderful displays of colour and structure, and offer great value in the long term. Tall varieties such as
Lupin,
Aquilegia, and
Delphinium can work particularly well together. Other types such as
Campanula and
Coreopsis can be used to great effect, filling out any gaps you may have between larger plants and shrubs. Many herbaceous perennial plants will also make great
cut flowers.
